From 2004 to 2009, he was a morning anchor/reporter at WLNS TV in Lansing, Michigan, and from 2009 to 2011, he was a morning anchor/reporter at KCTV in Kansas City. In 2011, he returned to Lansing to take over as the lead 6 and 11 p.m. anchor at WLNS. For nearly three years, he served WLNS.
Greg’s first big break in TV news occurred in May of 2004 when he received an offer of a three-month on-air reporting assignment by the NBC affiliate in Detroit. Chosen from a pool of 300 applicants, he won the position after a two-week audition procedure broadcast live on television!
Greg has covered some major events and interviewed some notable individuals. For instance, Magic Johnson, Mitt Romney, in the ten years since his first position at WDIV. Along the way, he has received a few accolades, including an Emmy nomination in 2013.
