Henry Cho is a well-known American stand-up comedian whose comedy can be heard on SiriusXM Radio’s Channel 98, Laugh USA, Sirius Radio’s Jeff and Larry’s Roundup Channel 97, and Pandora Radio’s PG Comedy Radio Channel. As of January 6, 2023, he became the first Asian American invited to join the Opry. Cho also has a pilot for The Henry Cho Show on Great American Country (GAC).

At just 21 years old, Henry entered a New York comedy competition in 1986 by chance. He and a college friend quickly put together some material while driving to the club. This opportunity launched his career, leading to numerous appearances on national comedy shows both as a guest and a host. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was featured on programs such as Bob Hope’s Young Comedians Special, MTV’s 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour, and The Arsenio Hall Show.
After returning to Tennessee, Henry received a call from NBC to host a revamped version of Friday Night Videos called Friday Night. He was also invited as the keynote speaker for the 59th Annual Radio and Television Correspondents’ Dinner. Additionally, during the holiday seasons of 2003 and 2004, he toured the U.S. with Amy Grant and Vince Gill. In 2009, he secured a deal with CBS and Paramount to write, produce, and star in another sitcom, with Craig Ferguson serving as executive producer.
