Prior to joining Pacific Business News, Dicus worked for WTOP Newsradio in Washington D.C. as an anchor and reporter from November 1997 to December 2000. While there, he was a morning reporter and a Saturday morning anchor who specialized in environmental, economic, and technology stories. Howard’s UPI economic reports aired on NPR newscasts, and UPI Audio newscasts were carried on KAIM, so they ran on HPR from 1984 to 1997. Throughout his career, Dicus has covered news ranging from two presidential inaugurals, riots, and anchored news on three radio networks. Additionally, he managed a global news service, and most importantly was a local reporter in Hawaii.
