Cradles serves at CP24 as an anchor and host of HOT PROPERTY. She joined the station as a remote host and became an anchor in the year 2014. Her career highlights with CP24 include the trip to Austin, Texas with Rob Ford (then-Mayor) as well as other Toronto city officials for the purpose of supporting the Austin-Toronto Music City Alliance, and the 2014 municipal election. When it comes to field reporting, Cradles has done it all for CP24. She was among the first reporters on the scene of the Toronto Eaton Centre shootings in June of 2012. Also, she covered the 2012 Diamond Jubilee visit to Toronto by Prince Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
Before joining CP24, she was working for CTV Barrie. She spent more than 4 years there working as a weather specialist and anchor/reporter. There she honed her skills for live and tight deadline reporting.
During her post-secondary studies, she was working as a chase producer for CTV News Channel, then known as CTV NewsNet. There she learned the building blocks of live-breaking TV news. During the internship, she served as a contributor, producer, and researcher to TV Ontario’s online blog. After that, she went to intern with 680 News, where she parlayed the internship into her first on-air position on radio, as a reporter of traffic news.
From there, Cradles followed the Toronto Blue Jays on their quest to reach the World Series in the years 2015 and 2016, with stops in Arlington, Kansas City, Cleveland, and Texas. Cradles also went to Miami, Florida with the Toronto Raptors to take coverage on their run in the 2016 NBA playoffs. During her leisure, she likes running, reading, camping, or spending time with her family and friends.
