In addition, she worked for the NBC affiliate in Kansas City – KSHB TV as the 6 pm weekday anchor.

While in Phoenix, she worked at KPHO-TV as a fill-in anchor and a multimedia journalist before she shifted to KSHB. She did a report on WIFI hacking which earned her an Emmy award. She also reported on the covered the country’s self-proclaimed toughest sheriff, Joe Arpaio, and the Jodi Arias trial during her time in Phoenix. In addition, She also reported deeply on immigration reforms and spent almost two weeks on the front lines covering the Wallow Fire, Arizona’s largest wildfire in state history.
Her career in television news began in Casper, Wyoming at KTWO-TV. She joined the station as a multimedia journalist and within a year, she was promoted to being the main anchor of the stations 5 pm, 6 pm & 10 pm newscasts, and the executive producer. In addition, she also spent at KTWO as the assistant news director.
She graduated from the University of Arkansan where she studied broadcast journalism and graduated in 2007. She interned for Congressman John Boozman who is now a United States Senator on Capitol Hill. Immediately after college, she went to Madrid, Spain where she taught English as a second language.
During her leisure time, she loves being involved in the community and spends most of her spare time as an emcee for charity events. She has also worked closely with the ALS Association.
