He remembers the days of former Razorbacks running back Barry Foster running wild for the Steelers, and respecting the fantastic stories to come out of Arkansas, such as the tale of Brandon Burlsworth, the record-breaking performances of Darren McFadden, and the great moments from the run to the Sugar Bowl in 2010.
Daerr feels blessed to have been to several Super Bowls, Stanley Cup Finals, the World Series, and the NBA Finals. Despite the challenges, he is always grateful to share these moments and bring what feels like a one-of-a-kind setting and atmosphere to fans in the community.
Daerr has been recognized and awarded by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association as a sports journalist. He is always up for a discussion on a great conversation when it comes to sports-related issues. When coming to his education, he attended and graduated from Duquesne University.
Daerr comments that he is a Pittsburgher, and it brings him so much delight to be in Fayetteville. He also added that he has long been a sports fan and to date, he is still a sports FAN.
