Stelson serves at WGAL-TV as a Weeknight News Anchor. She got her start at WHTM-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she served as a weather anchor and general assignment reporter. From there, she went to work for WPLG-TV in Miami, Florida, as a news reporter and anchor. There she covered everything from Haitian riots to hurricanes to one of the biggest drug busts in the history of the United States.

She then moved from there and went back to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she served at WHP-TV, as an anchor of the 6 pm and 11 pm newscasts. While at WHP, she also worked for public radio, WITF, worked as an anchor of “Computer Chronicles” on PBS(an American public broadcaster). Also, she worked as a host for a statewide public television broadcast with the governor of Pennsylvania.

When Stelson traveled to Kosovo, where she chronicled a Lancaster County General who was in charge of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization(NATO) Peacekeeping forces there, it marked one of her most memorable moments. At Kosovo, she also chronicled the Pennsylvania National Guard’s involvement. Also, taking a flight in an open military helicopter over the still-smoldering twin towers in New York. This was after the September 11th attacks, to deliver supplies. She has been having exclusive interviews with big people. One of her best interviews was the interview with Margaret Thatcher, the late British Prime Minister, and Paul McCartney as well. Away from Journalism work, her first job after graduating from college was writing speeches at the Embassy of Egypt in Washington, D.C.

Stelson has served in the community in various ways including serving on the board of directors for the Humane League of Lancaster County and speaking to many groups. She has also worked closely with several organizations, including the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society, just to name a few. She was voted “Best News Anchor” by the annual reader poll for Senior News of Dauphin and Lancaster Counties.
