Prior to him joining the network, he worked for the NBC affiliate WESH 2 News in Orlando where he served both as an anchor and as a reporter. He also tenured at the ABC stations in Wilmington, North Carolina, and Knoxville in Tennessee. Lennox clearly showed interest in Journalism while he was in middle school where he anchored the school’s morning broadcast.
Lennox did his first shot on air at the ABC station when he was still a college student. He worked as a full-time reporter where he covered hurricanes and the local crime beat. Prior to his tenure, he was also a college student who would attend classes during the day and go to work at night. He became the Rookie Reporter of the Year in the same year he graduated.
Lennox has reported on various spot-hitting events and high-profile cases. Just after Hurricane Katrina which had lasted for two weeks, Lennox traveled to New Orleans. He became the first reporter who did live coverage after the Virginia Tech massacre in 2006 from Blacksburg, VA.
Lennox also reported live on the case that was against Casey Anthony from outside Tiger’s home that helped break stories revolving around the 2009 accident of Tiger Woods SUV. His coverages aired on several networks that include NBC’s TODAY show, MSNBC, CNN, and FOX. Aside from work, Lennox loves spending time with family, working out, traveling, and also enjoys the beach.
