Prior to joining FNC, Paul worked as a reporter for the CBS-owned-and-operated television station KTVT-TV CBS 11 News in Dallas, Texas, where he worked since 2014. He covered a variety of breaking news topics there, including Hurricane Harvey’s aftermath and the 2016 Dallas police ambush.
He formerly worked as the primary night side reporter for WPTV-TV, an NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach, FL, for three years. Paul covered significant hurricanes including Hurricanes Isaac and Sandy when he was there. He also covered polo mogul and millionaire John Goodman’s high-profile DUI manslaughter case.
Paul also visited the Everglades National Park to report on the massive beaching of dozens of pilot whales. Paul previously worked as a reporter for KEZI-TV (ABC) in Eugene, Oregon, where he covered multiple wildfires and floods live. During the Fukushima nuclear accident, he also covered the University of Oregon’s national championship run in college football and the tsunami evacuation of the Oregon coast.
