After graduating from college, Arnold began her reporting career in South Bend, Indiana, at ABC 57. Initially working as a one-woman band reporter, she handled all aspects of her stories, including shooting, writing, and editing. She also anchored weekend newscasts and created a popular weekly series called “Real Michiana,” where she showcased unique local stories, such as carpool karaoke with an Uber-driving reverend and profiles of individuals overcoming adversity.
