During her time in college, Faith worked as an intern at two news stations. One was WAFF 48 News, and the other was WSFA 12 News in Montgomery, Alabama. While studying at Mississippi State University, she was also a student forecaster for Campus Connect and Take 30 News. In 2016, Faith was awarded the “Best Meteorologist” at Take 30 News.
Starting in the year 2016, Faith got a job at KLTV 7 News, which is the main TV station in Tyler, Texas. While there, she was involved in predicting heat waves, severe weather, winter weather, and tropical systems like Hurricane Harvey in 2017. In the summer of 2018, Faith spent two weeks helping with forecasts at KOLD News in Tucson, Arizona. She remembers that the air temperature reached over 100 degrees for many days in a row.
Before that, Faith was a member of the weather team at WAFF 48 News in Huntsville, Alabama. This area experienced a lot of severe weather but also had periods of droughts, floods, cold weather, and extreme heat. When she returned to the city where she went to college, Faith actively participated in the community. She gave talks about the weather, hosted events, and gave speeches at schools.
During her leisure time, she likes volunteering at charitable causes in the community and meeting new people. She also loves to watch scary movies, cook meals (plant-based), play tennis, or explore restaurants in western Pennsylvania.
