Following that, Kay also worked part-time as a writer for 7 NEWS, WHDH-TV, gaining valuable experience in journalism.
She showcased her talents as a weekly entertainment and sports correspondent for Good Morning Emerson on The Emerson Channel, contributing for eight months. Additionally, Kay served as an anchor and field correspondent for EIV Evening News at Emerson Independent Video for a year and five months.
She also interned as a production assistant and researcher at City Drive Studios in Los Angeles for three months, gaining insight into the entertainment industry. Furthermore, Kay worked part-time as a student intern for iSTANDtv in Boston for eight months. She briefly worked as a freelance op-ed writer for The Berkeley Beacon in Boston for one month. Kay also interned as a B4S Media Correspondent at Brands for Students in Las Vegas for two months.
