Gross serves at WNEM-TV as a Weekday/Weekend Meteorologist. He started as a Trainee Meteorologist at the station, up to December 2018. While in college, Gross was interning with WLNS 6 Lansing, as well as Fox 2 Detroit, as a meteorologist.
The main inspiration for Gross to study Meteorology is that he has been able to understand and see the science behind different kinds of hazardous weather phenomena, and the harmfulness which they can have to the lives of people and structures. Ginger Zee, Jerry Hodak, and Rich Luterman are some of the well-known meteorologists who inspired Gross.
Gross has been passionate about weather since he was young. He was always finding himself watching The Weather Channel instead of cartoons. “Storm Stories with Jim Cantore” was among his favorite TV shows. During his leisure, he likes hanging out with his loved ones(family and friends), exploring the outdoors, or listening to good music.
