Elder serves WOAI as an investigative reporter with News 4 and Fox 29. She joined the station in September 2022. Previously, she served WICS/WRSP as a multimedia journalist. Jordan worked for Cronkite News, the student affiliate of Arizona PBS, as a reporter and anchor throughout her time at ASU.

She also worked as a reporter for Carnegie-Knight News21, which produced an award-winning study on natural disaster relief and recovery across the United States. She worked as a reporter for the school’s teenage suicide documentary and explored health inequities in the Southwest for Catalyst, a scientific television program. Jordan also participated in a number of internships.

The Midwest native grew up in Kansas City and moved to Arizona for four years. She enjoys rooting (loudly) for the Kansas City Chiefs, visiting Springfield’s many parks, and watching reality television when she isn’t reporting. Jordan has always wanted to be a journalist, and she is thrilled to be launching her career in the Land of Lincoln.
