In addition, in that same year, he also was named by the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas (RTDNAC) as the “TV News Multimedia Journalist of the Year” for the large-market division.
Before he joined the WCNC team, he previously worked at WNCT, the CBS affiliate in Greenville, North Carolina. While he worked at WNCT, he exposed lapses in North Carolina’s tanning inspection program, revealed how a vital Greenville road’s deficiencies caused traffic congestion, and filed many investigations that led to the shutdown of illegal sweepstakes operations.
Furthermore, he was named Brandon “TV News Multimedia Journalist of the Year” for its small-market division by RTDNAC in 2015. During his leisure time, he enjoys reading the newspaper and being at a coffee house drinking his favorite coffee.
