Torres also holds the National Weather Association’s Television Weathercaster Seal of Approval as well as the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal. Since he started his TV career, he has enclosed several severe weather events including dust storms, drought, tornadoes, winter weather, and thunderstorms.
Whenever he is not busy working, he enjoys spending free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys visiting local schools and talking to kids about science, weather, and climate.
