Over the years with ABC7NY, he has covered the world’s most significant news events live-on-scene such as hurricanes in Florida, Puerto Rico, and Texas, as well as mass shootings in Orlando and Parkland, in Florida. He has reported on the inferno at Notre Dame in Paris and the concert bombing in Manchester, England. Einiger holds an Emmy Award for covering the Donald Trump Administration’s “family separation” policy at the border of Mexico. He has also done extensive reports on the Donald Trump presidency from Washington. Einiger provided live coverage on-scene of the capture of the Boston Marathon bomber.
He holds several Emmy awards for his coverage of the fatal crash of a helicopter in the East River, as well as a terror attack on a Manhattan bike path. Einiger has covered the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy and other numerous severe weather events in New York and beyond. He serves as ABC7NY’s Long Island Reporter, and with that, he was responsible for leading the coverage of the search for a serial killer near Gilgo Beach.
Before Einiger joined WABC, he served at; Fox News Channel as a Freelance Correspondent (December 2008 – September 2009); and WTXF-TV Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Reporter (March 2008 – September 2009).
