She began as the Marietta, Ohio bureau Multimedia Journalist and quickly shone in her role in the Mid-Ohio Valley. After some time, she was elevated to a producer and evening news anchor.

While at WTAP-TV, she covered multiple stories that impacted the MOV. In October 2017, she got an award-winning for the coverage of the 10-day-long fire in Parkersburg at the IEI Warehouse. She developed a passion for news ever since she was young, before going to school, she first watched the news. Dunphy also used to take newspapers to her grandparents every time she visited to read along with them.

During her senior year of high school at Padua Academy in Wilmington, Delaware, she got a chance to sit on the anchor desk. She filmed stories for PATV officially to spark her interest in her future career when she was not reporting. During her free time, she enjoys spending time getting some fresh air biking, hiking, as well as cooking. She is delighted living in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
