Prior to her time at WISN-TV, she served at WKOW-TV in Madison, Wis. where she served as the weekend evening news. She left the station and joined WISN in August 2004 where she served as an anchor and reporter.
Reed has also held several news production roles at WBBM-TV, WLS-TV in Chicago, and NBC News at the London Bureau. In addition to this, she is also an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). She is also very active when it comes to helping the people of her community and has also spent some time serving as a keynote speaker and emcee for quite a number of organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club.
