She interned at The Santa Clarita Valley Signal from January 2022 to June 2023, gaining practical experience in journalism.
Additionally, from January 2022 to June 2023, she served as a broadcast journalist at Cronkite News Arizona PBS, honing her skills in reporting and news anchoring. In Phoenix, Arizona, from September 2021 to December 2021, she took on multiple roles simultaneously, working as both a news anchor and a producer for Arizona PBS. There she was also responsible for creating stories for “Cronkite Noticias”, a Spanish newscast. While at PBS, she reported on various stories such as beehive robberies in the Central Valley (this story won her an Emmy Award).
Marroquin also contributed as a writer for Times Publications from January 2021 to August 2021 and interned at RightThisMinute during the same period, further expanding her understanding of media and communication. Furthermore, she explored her passion for acting from January 2018 to June 2018 during her time at ECUAEA, showcasing her diverse talents and interests.
