During her career, she has covered a number of stories including; South Carolina Congressman Mark Sanford’s political comeback, the trial of three men accused of killing an American couple in the Caribbean, the 2006 Sago Mine Disaster in West Virginia, and Haiti’s struggle to recover following the 2010 earthquake.
During her downtime, she enjoys volunteering, visiting family and friends at her childhood home in Kentucky, trying to play the fiddle (she took classes in West Virginia), reading, paddle boarding, and traveling. In addition, she loves animals and has two rescued pets.
