Hogan has served at WFSB in Hartford, Connecticut as the Weekend Evening Anchor and Bureau Chief. He retired from his journalism career in July 2022. He retired with about 5 decades in radio and TV. Channel 3 chose Hogan in 1997 to take on the position of special correspondent to cover the historic trip to Cuba of Pope John Paul II. After he returned, Kevin became a regular member of the Eyewitness News team. Kevin says his job offers him a chance to meet individuals every day and to report on stories that benefit communities.

In 1979, with veteran broadcaster Ron Rohmer, Hogan anchored mornings in New Haven on WELI-AM. He became News Director at WAVZ and WKCI (KC101) after a year, during which time he received many awards for broadcasting.

When coming to his education, Hogan attended Kolbe High School in Bridgeport and later graduated. His broadcasting career started on the campus radio station, WXCI-FM, at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury. In addition, he also interned in New York City on WNEW-TV and “The Ten O’Clock News with Bill Jorgensen.” He enjoys family time with his painstakingly restored 1959 MGA Roadster when he is not working.
