Since joining the station, he has received 47 Emmy nominations and won 11 New England Emmy awards. For the last twenty-five years, he has been reporting for NBC Connecticut from all over the country and the world, while sharing some of Connecticut’s happiest and saddest moments.

Furthermore, he served as NBC Connecticut’s sports and director live from seven World Series, five Super Bowls, and many of the UConn men’s and women’s basketball teams’ trips to the Final Four. In addition, his peers voted for him seven times as the Connecticut Sportscaster of the Year.

In the  UConn Football Radio Network, he served as a sideline reporter and he also hosted “Sports Talk” on WTIC Newstalk 1080 in addition to serving as a fill-in sports anchor for WNBC in New York. Furthermore, while in Huntington, Martinsburg, West Virginia, Utica, and New York, he served as a sports anchor.

He attended Dickinson College where he graduated proudly in 1990 and was named a Division III All-American safety. In addition, he broke the school record with 10 interceptions on the Red Devils’ first undefeated team in fifty-two years in 1989, during his senior year. In addition to serving for three years as the captain of the Dickinson baseball team.

For his Phillips Andover high school in Massachusetts. Long Island is his native home but he spent part of his childhood in New Hampshire. He is a board member for a variety of local charities and has volunteered as an emcee and host for hundreds of events across the state.

During his leisure time, he enjoys running, going to the beach, working out, reading good books, and spending time with his family and friends.
