Fields served KTVB as a weekend anchor and of the News at Noon prior to her promotion to the main anchor desk in 2016. With more than two decades of experience in the field of journalism, she retired on December 16, 2021, in pursuit of spending more time with her family.

She joined the NewsChannel 7 news team in 2009 and served as the weekend anchor and producer. In addition to reporting, she anchored the News at Noon. Blackfoot, Idaho was where she was brought up, and attended the University of Utah before she interned at KSL in Salt Lake City.

Furthermore, she served as a field producer and an associate producer for more than two years at KSL in the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics. Later on, she relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2002, where she worked at ECT as the morning and noon anchor for more than two years.

The Coastal Carolinas voted her as the “Favorite Morning Anchor” in addition to her field anchoring on the two hurricanes. Later on, she relocated to Chattanooga, Tennis where she worked at WTVC as an evening anchor. During her time in the station, she reported and field anchored several major news events.

For instance, visits from President Bush and Vice President Cheney and the 2008 presidential debate at Belmont University in Nashville. The Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters recognized her for her political reporting of the 2006 senatorial campaign. Furthermore, she was named one of the Top 30 Newsmakers to Watch in 2008, by the Chattanooga Times Press. During her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children while they explore all of Idaho’s great outdoors, skiing, Boise foothills, and biking around their neighborhood.
