Lake works as the morning and noon news anchor and reporter at WLNS-TV based in Lansing, Michigan. On joining WLNS in March 2019, she started off as a news reporter and weekend anchor. She began her career working at DTE Energy based in Detroit, Michigan where she served as a supply chain intern and was also in charge of supporting buyers and managers in the supply chain.
Lake left DTE Energy in August 2013 and moved on to work at Impact 89 FM where she served as an on-air Radio Disk Jockey based in Michigan State University from October 2012 till her departure in December 2013. Her next stop was at FOX Television based in Detroit where she was a summer intern and transcribed interviews from a video editing system (AVID) from May 2014 to August 2014.
She also interned at Conan located in Burbank, California from June 2015 to August 2015. While at Conan, she filled out and completed legal paperwork for talent who appeared on the show. From March 2014 to December 2015, she worked as an assistant communications coordinator and Clerical Assistant at the Institute for Cyber-Enabled Research based in Michigan.
Lake joined Focal Point News in Michigan and served as a reporter from August to December 2015. Prior to working at WLNS-TV, she worked at WLFI based in Indiana serving as a multimedia Journalist. Lake went to Michigan State University where she attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a minor in Sociology.
