During her career, she has covered a number of major weather events and historic storms such as Hurricane Sandy with the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, known as the Hurricane Hunters of the Air Force Reserve.

In addition to providing 17 consecutive hours of live storm coverage during Hurricane Matthew. Prior to leading her team with wall-to-wall coverage of Hurricane Irma a year later. She discovered that she wanted to become a meteorologist at the age of seventeen thus she is devoted to educating kids about weather and science.

She lent a hand in the creation of the popular segment Weather Wise Kids on WSAV, which airs a question from a local student every week. Furthermore, she provided a number of weather presentations every year, talking to any age group from toddlers to senior citizens. In the community, she has devoted the past ten years to the Oatland Island Wildlife Center, the Junior League of Savannah, the American Red Cross, the National Weather Service, Senior Citizens Inc, the United Way, the Salvation Army, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

As of the moment, she is a member of the board for the American Red Cross and Savannah Arts Academy. Prior to holding the AMS seal in meteorology. During her leisure time, she enjoys taking in the sights and sounds of our beautiful city, running, and staying active.
