While he worked at WDHN-TV, he leads meteorologists reporting live as Category 5 Hurricane Michael made landfall in the Florida panhandle in 2018, then, ripped through eastern Alabama and western Georgia as the most powerful hurricane on record to move through that area. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is his birth home and later he was brought up in Port Charlotte, Florida.
In addition, he participated in the WxChallenge, a national forecasting competition, and placed first in the graduate student division forecasting for Hilo, Hawaii while he was at Mississippi State. His career began in 2012, and he has worked in areas such as Augusta, Georgia.
