Before joining KNTV, Garcia worked as an Investigative Reporter at KPHO CBS 5 in Phoenix, Arizona, from 1997 to 1999. She also had experience as an Anchor/Reporter at KSEE 24 NBC in Fresno, California, for two years from 1995 to 1997. Prior to her time at KSEE 24, Laura was a Reporter at KFSN ABC 30 in Fresno, California, from 1993 to 1995. She began her career as a Reporter at KMPH Fox 26 in Visalia, California, where she worked for one year from 1992 to 1993. Garcia’s journey in journalism started as a Production Assistant at KGO-TV in San Francisco, California, from 1991 to 1992.
