Lauren Hope Career

Hope serves at NBC2 as a Weekend Morning Meteorologist. Previously, she was in Panama City, Florida, working for WMBB-TV(an ABC-affiliated). She spent 2years there serving as a weekday morning meteorologist. There she covered everything from tornadoes to tropical threats to wildfires to severe thunderstorms to other forms of severe weather.

Hope developed a love for broadcast television when she was in high school, where they as a school, went on mission trips to Guatemala, Jamaica, and Haiti. Many of these places were impacted by natural disasters and this hooked her fascination with broadcasting. 

Hope holds honors for her volunteer work in the community. During her leisure, she likes eating seafood, traveling, or exploring Southwest Florida. Also, you can find her at the beach when she is not chasing the weather.
