Lee’s fascination with weather started when he was twelve years old and constructed his first “Weather Center” out of shoeboxes and milk cartons. By the age of fourteen, he was streaming his first weather updates on Canton Cablevision in his hometown of Canton, Massachusetts.

His personal experience has led him to share his enthusiasm for the weather with students in schools across the Tri-state area, inspiring a new generation of young meteorologists. He interned at WCVB-TV and WHDH-TV in Boston, as well as the National Weather Service office in Concord, New Hampshire, while in college.

He started his meteorological career in 1993, forecasting for utilities and ski areas via a private weather service as well as radio stations in the United States and Canada. At the same time, he was filling in on the air at WSTM-TV in Syracuse, New York, where he contributed award-winning coverage of the unprecedented “Blizzard of 1993.”

Lee was employed full-time at WTVH-TV in Syracuse after graduation. Lee’s commitment to community service includes his enthusiastic support for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation, which he hosts each spring in Riverside Park for their annual Walkathon. Recently, he attained recognition for his contributions to the foundation.

He is also a member of the Central Park Conservancy, where he supports a number of projects aimed at preserving and protecting the park. Lee, a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, spends his free time golfing and tennis. He and his wife Jessica, as well as their two children, live in Westchester.
