She is dedicated to assisting our service personnel and veterans. Leslie’s grandfathers both fought in WWII, and her boyfriend is a Navy veteran, so reporting on topics that affect our military personnel is extremely important to her heart.
Leslie is also a talented pianist, tailgater, do-it-yourselfer, and frugal fashionista! She’s horrible at cooking and much worse at cleaning up after herself!
Leslie earned a magna cum laude degree in Electronic Journalism and a minor in Fashion Merchandising from the University of South Carolina’s Honors College.

Leslie has a genuine desire to help animals. She is a foster dog parent for a local rescue organization, and she has assisted numerous canines in finding their forever homes. Leslie spends her free time with her own “fur-baby,” a 170 pound Great Dane named Gunner. In fact, she met her partner through his Great Dane, Thor, who he also owns. Their house is, unsurprisingly, covered with a fine layer of drool and dog hair.
