Juarez started her career at a cable station in Palmdale, California, where she worked as an intern, before making her way up to general assignment reporter. There, she covered the kidnap of 2 Antelope Valley teens, which launched the California state’s first Amber Alert. From there, she went to work for KMIR-TV in Palm Springs, California, as a general assignment reporter, as well as a producer. There, she covered the California wildfires, in which her family’s home had to be evacuated. After that, she now went to work for KERO-TV in Bakersfield.
Juarez is a volunteer in the community. She serves as a 2020 Man & Woman of the Year Leadership Chair at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. During her leisure, she likes cooking, traveling, or exploring new restaurants in the area.
