From there, she went to work for KMIR-TV in Palm Springs, California, as a general assignment reporter, as well as a producer. There, she covered the California wildfires, in which her family’s home had to be evacuated. After that, she now went to work for KERO-TV in Bakersfield. 

Juarez is a volunteer in the community. She serves as a 2020 Man & Woman of the Year Leadership Chair at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. During her leisure, she likes cooking, traveling, or exploring new restaurants in the area.
