Due to her investigations, she was able to uncover for the network, the failures of the city of Seattle to fulfill promises in a $365 million levy, the problems with King County’s senior property tax exemption program, and also the policy failures that allowed Seattle firefighters to continue driving for the fire department for months, sometimes even years, after being arrested multiple times for DUIs in their time off.
Sheldon has also anchored several breaking news coverages that included the deadly crane collapse in 2019, the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport stole plane in the year 2018, and the 2020 downtown Seattle riots. Prior to her relocating to Seattle, Sheldon worked for WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina where she reported on the controversial fight for control of Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
