Simms is an American reporter currently working for KIRO 7 News who previously worked at KPHO/KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Ariz where he served as a reporter. Prior to his tenure in the southwest, he anchored and also reported news on Washington State on every television network.
Simms began his anchoring and reporting career at Yakima, KIMA-TV in Washington where he served in the Tri-Cities at KEPR-TV as an anchor and reporter. He later joined KREM-TV in Spokane three years after working for the network where he both served as a nightside reporter and also as an anchor.
Simms did live coverages on several critical events that included the 2016 Washington gubernatorial election, the 2015 Okanogan Complex Fires, and the 2014 Marysville Pilchuck High School shooting during his tenure in Spokane. Currently, Simms resides in the Northwest.
