Before that, she was an anchor/reporter at KABC 7 in Los Angeles, a reporter at News 14 in North Carolina, and a producer at Palm Springs’ KESQ.
As a producer for KESQ in Palm Springs, Lisa started her television news career in 2001. In Charlotte, North Carolina, she also worked as a reporter before joining KABC-TV. Lisa covered a wide variety of tales while in Southern California. Increased drug cartel activity at the border, devastating wildfires, and a mudslide that destroyed several houses, she reported from Tijuana.
At the Oscars and the American Music Awards, championship parades for the Los Angeles Lakers, the annual Rose Parade, and countless celebrity interviews, she even enjoyed focusing on LA’s lighter side. When coming to her education, she graduated with a degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Lisa, an avid runner, has participated in many marathons, qualifying three times for the Boston Marathon. She is a big fan of football as well. Her father has been coaching high school football in Southern California for three decades, so she and her family are living for high school, college, and pro gridiron.
