Prior to starting her first job in Bryan/College Station as a multimedia journalist, she schooled in Granda. She later worked in Waco, Texas as a morning reporter and anchor. This was before she became the CBS affiliate in Corpus Christi, Texas main anchor. During her time in Texas, she became the Best Feature Haunted Lexington and received Texas Texas Associated Press Award.
When she was finding out if the ship lived up to its rumor of being haunted, she spent the night on an aircraft carrier built during WW II. She has served as a fill-in anchor and reporter for the CBS affiliate in Orlando, Fla for the last six and a half years. Korn reported a wide range of events like hurricanes and high-profile court cases in two counties.
She traveled to Houston to report Hurricanes Harvey and reported the 2018 Royal Wedding from all over the pond in England. Korn developed a passion for journalism while in high school after she shot, produced, anchored, and edited the morning newscast. She likes sharing stories that matter and making a difference. Korn volunteered at Healthy Souls International for disaster relief when she was not working in the Florida sun.
In public relations, Korn served as the vice president where she initiated two county-wide food drives with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and gathered food for the Covid-19 victims. She kept on serving her community by providing groceries weekly to senior citizens and the ones with compromised immune systems. During her leisure time, she likes exercising, exploring new restaurants, Texas two-stepping, as well as traveling.
