In 2018, he graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies. He played football during his time in college. In the course of his tenure in Pine Puff, he worked as the leader of the school’s newscast. In the years 2016 and 2017, he was also named as Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He interned at KARK/FOX 16, the NBC and FOX affiliates in Little Rock, Arkansas.
