Moreover, she traveled to London, where she rode with Bobbies on the beat and learned how the London police officers do their work without guns.
Fullbright has covered everything from the Summer Olympics’ bombing in Atlanta to the OKC bombing trials of Terry Nichols and Timothy McVeigh in Denver, and McVeigh’s execution. Also, she covered officers hunting for marijuana in the mountains of St. Lucia. Before working for News on 6, she served KOMU-TV in Columbia, KTVO-TV in Kirksville, and KSPR-TV in Springfield.

Fullbright was inducted into the 50th Annual Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame in 2020. She won 2 Emmy Awards for her report on a Tulsa police officer who got shot and killed in the line of duty, and the other for her report on a house fire that claimed the lives of 5 people.
Fullbright’s investigative reports earned the 2015 Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Award. The previous year, she won the OAB award for “Best News Feature.” In 2013, she was named a “Newsie” for being a favorite reporter by the Tulsa Press Club.
The Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters honored her with their Best Investigative Piece Award in 2008. That same year, she won a Society of Professional Journalists(SPJ) award for investigative reporting.
In 2005, she received an Appreciation Award from the Tulsa Police Department Citizens. That same year, she received Tulsa’s Sigma Gamma Rho Status of Women honor. The previous year, she won a Pinnacle Award from the Tulsa Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women.
In 2003, Fullbright received a Best of Broadcast award for “Best Reporter.” She won a KATY Award for her coverage of a murder suspect who surrendered to her at the News On 6 studios. The FHA/HERO Lifetime recognized her with an achievement honor. She also has the DARE achievement award.
Fullbright sat on the board of the Citizens Crime Commission that operated the Alert Neighbor and Crime Stoppers programs.
