Before joining 13News Now (WVEC), Lucy worked for WWL-TV as the 9 pm and 10 pm news anchor from June 2004 to October 2010 where she reported the day’s news and field investigation. Bustamante also covered Hurricane Katrina and the devastation thereafter. She also covered the first gubernatorial trade trip in Cuba between Havana and Louisiana under President Bush.
