There she covered everything from ice storms to hurricanes. Doll has been passionate about meteorology since she was young. Growing up, she used to be terrified of tornadoes and thunder. She started to visit local libraries and discover books about clouds and his fear of tornadoes and thunder turned into fascination.
When she was 6 years old, she won a contest for naming all the clouds in the sky. The prize was having a local television station meteorologist go and do the weather forecast from her backyard! She looks forward to sharing her passion and knowledge to assist in keeping her community safe and informed when severe weather strikes. While in college, she served at the local NBC affiliate, KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW as a weekend weather forecaster.
While in Monroe, Doll was a strong volunteer with the United Way of Northeast Louisiana as well as the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She is also a sustainability advocate who tries to reduce her carbon footprint one veggie burger at a time. During her leisure time, she likes camping, kayaking, spending time with her cat Mongojerry as well as her dog Gertie, reading a good book, hiking, or biking. Also, she enjoys exploring the trails in the sunflower state.
