Moretti serves at WIVB News 4 as a news reporter. Before joining WIVB, he worked for WTAJ-TV in Altoona, Pennsylvania as a news reporter and anchor. Before that, he served at WBNG-TV in Binghamton, New York as an executive producer. There he assisted in the launch of the 5:00 p.m. newscast. While at WBNG, he investigated a cancer cluster affecting kids in the Binghamton area. The story made the New York State Health Department look into it.
Throughout his career, he has covered many significant stories. He was the 1st reporter to announce that a ramp at the Interstate 190-290 interchange in Buffalo got lower because it was falling apart. He was also the 1st journalist to cover a big piece of land moving because of a construction project near Springville, New York. An old lady’s house was breaking apart as the ground moved from the big slide. After he kept telling this story, they stopped the construction for a while to fix the slide, and the lady got a safe place to stay quickly.
