Baietto mostly focused on reporting in both Spanish and English around the southern border when she was there. She covered many stories about the migrant caravan, family separation, and immigration law for nearly two years.

Marcella interned at a number of local Phoenix news sources in addition to reporting. Her most recent internship was at NBC News in New York City, where she worked on special reporting and breaking news with the 30 Rock team.
