Maria Quiban Career
She studied at Aiea High School and later at the University of Hawaii, studying journalism. She worked in Honolulu for local NBC affiliate KHNL before moving to Los Angeles in 1998 to work for the Orange County Newschannel as the weather anchor. She accepted employment as the KTTV weather anchor in 2000. She received a BS in 2005. In meteorology through correspondence courses from Mississippi State University.
Quiban has appeared in various TV shows and films, including Bruce Almighty, Cold Case, Everybody Hates Chris, Criminal Minds, and Ryan’s Mystery Playdate, playing a reporter. In the film Blood Work, she played the part of a murder victim.
