Later she interned with Sinclair Broadcast Group in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as a meteorology intern. Additionally, Nuzzo served as a Student Media (School of Meteorology) at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma for three years. There, she was made responsible for managing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and website for the school.

For the network, she also interviewed her peers and professors and wrote news articles for the website. Raised in the northwestern Chicago suburbs where Summertime frequently kept her up all night. Nuzzo found it amazing to stay up all night watching the lightning from her bedroom window. Following years of choir and theatre, she discovered that meteorology was the perfect way for her to combine her interests in Maths, Science, Communication as well as Public Service.

Nuzzo moved to Norman, Oakland in the year 2016 to attend the School of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma. Having a great interest in Meteorology, she interned in several newsrooms countrywide including WKOW in Madison, Wisconsin, KOKH in Oklahoma City, and KSL in Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, she has also served as a weathercaster for her college newscasts called OU Nightly for all of her college careers.

There she was also allocated several tasks including senior web content producer, weather producer, weather anchor, camera operator, and floor manager, among others. Additionally, she also has been accorded various awards for her on-air work including being placed 3rd in the nation in the weathercaster competition for the 2019 Broadcast Education Association Award.

She serves as a weekday morning meteorologist for WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. During her leisure time, she enjoys exploring local breweries and restaurants. Additionally, she also loves singing as well as wearing yellow which apparently is her favorite color.
