He served the network as a fill-in anchor and reporter. Keely reported on a suspected serial killer who was linked to various murder cases in Michigan and Pennsylvania. He additionally spent three days covering the deadly 80-car pileup on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County.
His first reports aired on WJAC-TV based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Moreover, he was tenured as the weekend news anchor in Johnstown.
