Thornton is a proud alumnus of Southeastern Institute, where she obtained a certificate in neuromuscular massage therapy. After finishing college, Thornton started working as a clinic director in Charlotte, NC. This experience led to a half-decade collaboration with a big Fortune 500 company. She also became the owner of Massage Envy Spas from November 2011 to October 2014. Following the success of the company, she expanded by opening Joint Chiropractic doctor offices in the Northeast region, covering Virginia, North Carolina, Washington, D.C., New York, and Maryland.
Driven by her passion for helping others, she is an active sponsor for families and a board member of the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, NC. Thornton addressed the breast implant illness topic, a common concern, stating it was the number one thing she hears. Andy referenced Yolanda Hadid’s experience, mentioning she got rid of her implants due to feeling her body was rejecting them. He asked if this was a conversation for Thornton. She confirmed it was, explaining that sarcoidosis is caused by foreign objects entering the body, which the body tries to reject.
