Throughout his career, he has won several industry awards and honors. He was voted the Associated Press Sportscaster of the year in Alabama in the year 2004. At the 2006 convention for Best Sports Feature, Dubberly won an Associated Press (A.P.) Award. In the year 1986, he won a UPI award for Best Sports Radio Feature and an Associated Press Award for Best Sports Coverage the following year. Dubberly holds Associated Press (A.P.) Awards for; Best Sports Feature Reporting and his work on the FOX6 show “Sideline ’99”. 

In Dubberly’s sports career, he covered the Alabama-Auburn football games, Super Bowl, numerous NCAA tournament games, and World Series. When it comes to volunteering, Dubberly devotes his leisure to his favorite charities. Dubberly also likes golfing, lifting weights for his body fitness, and playing video games as well as basketball during his leisure time.
