Between August 2016 and February 2022, he was a Paraprofessional at Wexford-Missaukee Intermediate School District based in Cadillac, Michigan.
Previously, he worked at M&M Rentals of Cadillac Michigan, a family-owned snowmobile rental, as a Manager. Langworthy went to Central Michigan University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in meteorology and mathematics. While there, he was a member of the Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and became president of the grouping from 2007 up to 2008. In addition to that, he was a member of Synoptic Meteorology, Mesoscale Meteorology, and Meteorological Radar, Satellite, and Instrumentation.
