Before that, he worked in Lubbock, Texas where he covered Lubbock Christian University, Texas Tech, and high school sports in West Texas. He as well worked in east Texas, Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Roswell, New Mexico.
Nick began his broadcasting career in 1999 working at ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut where he was a Production Assistant. He played high school basketball and then played college baseball and football at Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas.
He realized that education was even more important and returned to San Diego to focus on school at CSU San Marcos. An ardent fan of sports, Nick enjoys playing basketball, flag football, softball, baseball, golf, and just about everything at the same time that includes a ball and exercise. For his work, Nick has received many broadcasting awards and also coaches children who are involved in sports broadcasting.
