She returned home to San Diego after graduating from college in 2016, where she started reporting on KUSI’s Prep Pigskin Report and reported on the ‘Pep Rally’ Game of the Week. Now she is happy to be the “East County Game of the Week” reporter where she gets to report from the high schools in the city in which she grew up.
When coming to her education, Allison attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo after graduating from the Orange Nation, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism. While there, she worked as Mustang News’ Broadcast Sports Director and won many national awards for her work. She produced weekly sportscasts and anchored a show called Mustang Gameday before home games, a 90-minute pre-game show.
As for the other eight months of the year, Allison likes to get out and make a difference in the community by telling the stories of athletes, from young people to pros, in front of and behind the camera. She likes to travel (been to 49/50 states), cheer on the Padres, volunteer in the community, and spend time with friends and family while she’s not at work.
